Community Health Fair Series Expanded into East Orlando
The popular health fair series held throughout August in the Lake Nona and Lee Vista area is now expanding into the East Orlando and Waterford Lakes areas. Local residents are welcome to come to this completely free, consumer-driven event. The series, which will offer free health screenings, giveaways, local specialty doctors and more, will be at three locations in East Orlando this month:
- September 19 - The MiniER Clinic - 12301 Lake Underhill Rd - 10:00 a.m. - 1:oo p.m.
- September 26 - Waterford Lakes Town Center - 413 N. Alafaya Trl. - 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
“We feel a continuing commitment to our community to be a resource for information that benefits all area residents,
not just business-owners,” says Jennifer Thompson, president of Insight Marketing Group and health fair co-creator. “We are proud to do our part to make East Orlando a thriving community, by ensuring happy, healthy community members.”
The event is open to area residents of all ages, and will feature information on such categories as health and nutrition, vision, hearing and more. This is also an opportunity for area residents to become familiar with local medical services. “The other health fairs were so successful, we’ve extended them another month to a new community,” says Thompson. “We expect an equally high turn-out from East Orlando residents. Our goal is that they will walk away from the fair with a new understanding what’s available in their community to be a resource of information and serve their individual health needs.”
